The PN-EN 10095:2002 standard, "Heat-resistant steels and nickel alloys," was published on December 27, 2002, by the Polish Committee for Standardization. It replaced the earlier PN-71/H-86022 standard , aligning Polish standards with European requirements.
Standard range:
The PN-EN 10095:2002 standard specifies the technical delivery conditions for the following products made of heat-resistant steel and nickel alloys:
- Semi-finished products
- Tapes
- Hot or cold rolled thin and thick sheets
- Hot or cold formed bars
- Wire rod
- Shapes
Characteristics of heat-resistant steels:
Heat-resistant steels are materials with an austenitic, ferritic-austenitic, or ferritic structure, characterized by high resistance to oxidation and corrosion at high temperatures . These properties make them widely used in structural components exposed to high temperatures, such as industrial furnaces, boilers, and vacuum chambers.
